Accessed via the main hallway by a (steepish) staircase on our first floor, you’ll love the French doors leading onto your private balcony with views across the croquet lawn to Akaroa Harbour beyond; the perfect spot for breakfast with the birds!

Tea and coffee making facilities plus a small guest fridge are located in the shared sitting room, just a few steps away from your room. This really pretty room has a view like a painting and French doors leading onto the main front balcony. It’s is a real sun trap in the afternoons! Perfect for an evening glass of wine whilst watching the Kereru perform acrobatics in the setting sun across the harbour. The famous Blythcliffe breakfast is served in our heritage dining room. Fresh fruits and herbs from our own organic gardens, yoghurt, freshly baked croissants with home-made, award winning marmalade:) Espresso coffee and tea of your choice. Eggs laid by our own chickens, free range NZ bacon, Akaroa salmon, are all part of your cooked choices and made to order.
